Inappropriate Barbie

Many of you probably saw this when chapter 12 posted, but just in case you missed it, here in all her glory is the Inappropriate Barbie Carina sent Megan and Martie.

Carina:  "I still don't see what the problem is."

Beaver Creek, Colorado

My wonderful friend, Catrogue, just asked for a photo of Chuck and Sarah's view during their morning coffee ritual.  Your wish is my command.

How nice of them to have a table and chairs right there on the balcony.

You can picture them sitting there, can't you?

I like this gazebo.

Not so sure about the little statues, though.

Here is a breathtaking view of the valley.

This is the photo I used as the inspiration for Chuck and the kids' house when I first started writing the first story a year ago.

I think I could suffer through living here.  Couldn't you?

Beaver Creek Village and the ice skating rink.

I should really work for the Colorado Visitor's Bureau.

I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am

It occurred to me the morning that there is a picture that MUST be shared.  In chapter 15, the family goes to the Tower of London and sees, among other things, a set of Henry VIII's armor (or armour for those who enjoy the letter "u").  This prompted a discussion.  You can see why.

It... uh... really draws your eye, doesn't it?

There was another set of armor mentioned briefly in Sarah's attempt to distract from an uncomfortable line of questioning.

You really gotta feel for that horse.

The Meeting Place

I was going to write a big old long, rambling "welcome to this blog" post and explain what this is all about.  Nah. Suffice it to say that the main point of this blog will be to supplement the fan fiction story "Chuck vs. the Sound of Music II" with multimedia! (Well, mostly pictures, but you never know.) I might post excerpts from the chapter I'm working on from time to time.  You can ask me questions, too, if you want.  I'm a librarian.  Ask me anything!

Today when I added a chapter to fanfiction.net, I wanted to include a link or two to photos of the large bronze statue I was referring to.  In no way would the site allow me to do that.  After grousing about this to AgentInWaiting, he suggested we start a blog where people can see the pictures and stuff we want to share.  So, here we are.  AgentInWaiting will also, hopefully, be posting to this blog as well.

So, without further ado, here are the photos I wanted to share with you from chapter 17.  This is called, The Meeting Place by Paul Day at St. Pancras International in London.

And this one.

So there you go.
